Bio
Brad joined Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 2002 and since January, 2020 serves as the firm's Managing Shareholder. Additionally, Brad supports the assurance and accounting department. In that role, Brad provides assurance and advisory services to his clients which are primarily privately-held, for-profit companies, including private equity and ESOP owned companies, across a variety of industries including manufacturing/distribution, construction, dealerships and retail.
Brad’s advisory services experience includes a variety of transaction advisory service projects for private equity and corporate clients. He has experience leading buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects, providing sell-side support for investment bankers and their clients and identifying working capital requirements. Over the years, Brad has also assisted clients during periods of transition within their organizations, including temporarily assuming various roles within their financial and accounting departments, as well as providing support for newly hired financial managers, controllers and CFOs. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Brad assists with the oversight of day-to-day activities of the firm’s staff and with the standardization of the assurance and accounting department’s policies and procedures.
Prior to becoming a member of the Vrakas shareholder group in 2015, Brad served as a principal/manager in Vrakas’ assurance and accounting department. He was promoted to the manager level in 2007 after showing a continual commitment to his clients and their success, which has carried into his current position. Brad enjoys working with a wide range of clients and the unique opportunities provided by each. Brad attributes his success to his strong work ethic, dedication to client needs and the responsibility he takes for himself and his career.
