The Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries (MBBI) association offers educational meetings, conferences and events to assist members in achieving and maintaining the highest levels of professional standards and qualifications. MBBI is comprised of business brokers, M&A intermediaries, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, bankers, SBA lenders, valuation service providers, individual buyers, private equity groups, wealth managers and corporate buyers who collaborate to create the most valuable experience for respective clients. The united effort of educated professionals insures the highest standards, ethics and efficiency when buying, funding, and selling small and medium-sized businesses.

MBBI provides DealMart, a valuable database platform that helps to enhance the sale process and expedite business transactions. DealMart provides instant access to available opportunities that members have listed, it enables collaboration on deals and allows members to post information on open deals and opportunities.  DealMart contains information regarding the deal specifics, participants and processes involved in the sale and acquisition of businesses.  By enhancing the networking value and fostering deal teams, MBBI plays a contributing role in helping to get deals done and improving the quality of the overall process and experience.

Our Mission
The mission of MBBI is to be the Midwest marketplace for small and medium sized business deals.  We strive to provide opportunities for our members to increase the quality and quantity of their deals through networking and referrals to new clients, since MBBI members always give more than they take.  Recognizing that a successful deal takes a team of professionals – M&A, banking, legal, accounting, wealth management – we encourage collaboration and teamwork in the best interest of the client.  We push to educate our members on how a business is bought and sold, and share the best practices surrounding the entire experience – from sourcing, to managing the process, to collaborating with deal teams, to financing the deal, to driving a successful close.  Through all we do, we strive to elevate the caliber and closing ratio of deals that do go to market.  We aim to enhance the professional image of all merger and acquisition professionals by observing the highest ethical standards.  MBBI leaders monitor and influence governmental laws and policies and educate members when a change is implemented in the business community.
