Eric founded Focus Capital Advisors, Inc. after a very successful twenty-six year career in public accounting, including twenty years as a Partner with one of the country’s fastest growing CPA firms and Leader of the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. His specialty has been in Dealmaking with significant tax and finance knowledge. This unique set of skills is a powerful combination when it comes to structuring a successful transaction. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant with a BS from Illinois State University and professional memberships in the American Institute of CPA's, Illinois CPA Society, the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries and the Association for Corporate Growth. He participates in a variety of continuing professional education programs, is a frequent guest speaker and has authored numerous articles on business issues such as valuation, business structures, tax planning, strategic growth and business succession.
