Bio
Jerry Strub has been active in the Environmental/CleanTech industry for 39+ years. He started as a laboratory/field chemist for a small environmental firm performing emergency response, project management and laboratory analysis. He rapidly progressed through business development, marketing and sales & operations management roles over the next 15 years with a division of Waste Management. He spent the following 15 years working for Weston Solutions, an environmental engineering and consulting firm focused on strategic domestic and global growth initiatives. His global experience includes extensive time with China, Taiwan and India.
Today, he is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Strategic Growth Consulting, Inc. (SGCI) a management consulting firm that assists global professional and technical services organizations (think engineers and scientists) in identifying growth opportunities, developing a sound plan and aligning the organization to execute using a collaborative process. SGCI supports CleanTech & MedTech startups & early stage companies searching for investment to fund their growth. SGCI supports existing domestic small to medium technical companies searching for China market entry, additional capital and/or exit strategies. SGCI works with Chinese environmental firms and investors searching for North American CleanTech/Environmental investment or partnering opportunities. Jerry is an advisory board member of two Chinese environmental firms.
In the beginning of 2019, Jerry also took on the role of Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Development for GZA GeoEnvironmental. GZA is a 56-year-old firm headquartered in Boston. He is focused on growing and diversifying GZA’s client and services base in the midwestern states.
