JAMES MONTESANTOS, Managing Partner, Joseph James Business Advisors
Jim received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1986 from the University of Southern California. He embarked on a thirty-five year career in all aspects of foodservice management as owner/operator of independent restaurants, banquet halls, micro-brewery/brew pubs and more. Developed and owned entirely new concepts in upscale casual dining where he was responsible for raising capital, design & construction, financial planning, and full management of operations. Quoted in Industry leading Nation’s Restaurant News, “It’s all about the customer experience. Only through thoughtful and responsible leadership can your team achieve that common goal better than your competition.” He proceeded to consult individual operators, manage the operations of casual dining concepts for others, and start-up a P&C insurance brokerage.
His goals, now, are to support his clients to achieve their own successes. In recent years, evolving into a partner in Goldberg Heinze Business Advisors, he strengthened his consulting services to assist diverse clients with his strategic M & A skills. Joint ventures, business sales, strategic acquisition searches, asset consolidation, strategic planning, and business valuations.
