Alessandro (Alec) Gizzi, is Founder and CEO of AAG Business Consultants, a company that specializes in servicing midsize companies ($10M – 500M) seeking solutions to add value to their business.
Alec is an entrepreneur that has started, bought, and sold businesses threw out his 40-year career. Alec has founded over ½ dozen companies, most of which were in the logistics field. One of his companies, JBS Logistics grew from a two-person operation to a very successful Cold Storage facility with 120 employees generating over 40M in revenue. JBS sold to Koch Logistics (Minneapolis, MN) in 2016.
Alec is highly regarded for his experience and knowledge in the Supply-Chain Industry. He served as Chairman of the Transportation Intermediary Association (TIA) Board of Directors in 2013 and was a Member of their Executive Committee for 12 years.
Although his primary business interest was concentrated in the logistics, many of the same M&A principles apply to most small to mid-size companies (10M – 150M is sales). In addition to the transportation industry, Alec has advised businesses in manufacturing, assembly, and other service-related industries.
